Kristi and I had a journaling evening last night. She got right into it with me. The coffee table was filled with paper cutouts, crayons, paintbrushes, glue.. and chili nuts, soda pop, beer glasses..

At the same time we were watching Eagle Eye with Bill. Pretty action filled! Other than getting my heart rate up at times due to the movie I was in a wonderfully relaxed weekend-state-of-mind.

Carly had other plans, she doesn’t like action movies, so she chatted with her friend on MSN and watched some episodes of a favourite show on YOUTUBE in the other end of the livingroom.
This is , however, a drawing CARLY made a few weeks ago:

I was just going to write a post and add some photoes – when the camera battery went, so photoes have to wait.
We are all having Friday evening the way we want it: Bill and Emma have been out for a walk and now the dog got a new bone and Bill got himself a beer. I have just had a coffee and TRULY enjoyed what came in the mail today: 3 issues of PLAY MAGAZINE from TEESHA MOORE. I know I’ll have hours of reading/studying those magazines and get inspiration for further journaling. In fact I think I will do some journaling tonight.

ahh, it’s going to be a good, restful evening. I’ll also do some rounds on my knitting, have a glass of red wine and watch some TV.

that is one of the advanced and skilled weavers, she had undone the mistakes and gotten my loom all set for starting my weaving last Tuesday when I was on winter vacation. So tonight I have actually started weaving. yuhuuu! It was fun!

–is coming early. It’s wonderful . Since we’ve had a week off from getting up by the alarm clock it is really noticeable how early the day arrives. Spring will come , I believe it now.

“Fastelavn” is a part of the church year, it is the onset of fast that lasts till Easter. Nowadays it doesn’t mean anything else to protestants like us than having some sweet buns with our coffee this Sunday and in many homes we’ll find twigs with many coloured feathers. This year I brought out the feathers but ended up not goingout to find twigs. When the girls were younger we always decorated. But the buns are out of the oven! A lot of people serve them with whipped cream. We don’t do that here (I think it is such an odd combination) but I put icing sugar on before serving. What a baking weekend this has been for me. That’s something I only do if I feel like it. And I did.

Yesterday I watched skiing and prepared journal pages with watersoluble crayons and some collage items. Now I have several pages to journal on whenever and wherever I want.. On others I used cutouts from weekly magazines from Norway. On this first one I plan on writing down all the books I read this year. (Maybe there will be need for two more pages?)
