I was just about to download some photoes and make a posting when my camera went dead, so I had to wait until the battery had been recharged. We’ve taken my mother’s dining room table back today. We borrowed it for the confirmation weekend. Then we took a drive to the nursery and Bill got some grass seed. He is very zealos about our lawn.. We also got rid of some recycling and picked up a few things at the store. I did put a load of laundry in, but for the rest of the evening it’s just been “lounging” :

Bill was on his snow mobile forum (even though it is not much snowmobiling at this time of year)- and looks like he is multitasking here… or should I say multi-watching.

and I’m moving around in the world of blogging.

Bill and I have watched a movie tonight, and I have done some knitting.

I got some books in the mail today. ordered them earlier this week and now I can’t wait to leaf through this one:

I also realized this might be a good read (before the movie comes..) but it’ll have to wait until I’m done with the Story of Edgar Sawtelle that I have started. So far it’s good.

If nothing else

I can sit here in my comfy chair and make necessary lists for next weekend’s confirmation party..

Mom and I went shopping this afternoon. It was as if it was a midsummer day out there, so when I returned home around five Bill served me cold white wine, started the barbeque and we ate on the porch for the first time this season. Coffee, chokolate.. I’m all Friday-tuckered-out and can do no nothing productive now. But I can make lists. Buffet lists, cake list, shopping list, chore list… I know i’m going to need it as the event approaches!

I got a new book at the library yesterday. Haven’t started it yet, but I’m hoping its good:

No internet – no good!!

I was all set to write a ne post in this blog yesterday afternoon, coffee and my mom’s apple cake on the table after supper… and then : no internet! I realized as the night progressed how I missed it. I had to admit to a certain level of addiction to my blogging round and my forum connection..

But what do you do instead? No problem finding other things to get into for me. I am on the last few centimetres of the second sleeve of Cobblestone and I started a new book that seems very good. This author is well established in Norway now, but it’s the first time I read something of hers.

The whole town were affected by this computer trouble today. Bank terminals in the stores, some cell phones didn’t work, and then the internet on several workplaces..

I work right outside of town and luckily everything worked there. Everything works now though and apparently they had it fixed around four pm.
